Kurang itu lebih (Less is more)

Is it normal to feel happy when i read one of my Fav blogger proposed by her BF??hahaha..Happy for others is fine isnt it? =D

I'm triggered to write this entry after read what Alya, the blogger, wrote in her blog. Its about how engagement can be skipped because what is important is two families meet and discuss.I absolutely agree with her! but we did have engagement ceremony the other day.hehe...

I'm actually jealous with friends who had a simple n nice wedding...i want one but its hard to say i can have one. Being the only daughter in the family, the first granddaughter that getting married among the grandchildrens and growing up in the community that rich with culture, its a bit hard to ignore the custom.Malam berinai, majlis khatam Al-Quran,Bersanding,pusing pusar naga, langkah bendul, and the list goes on..

Despite all that, alhamdulillah i have parent who kinda want a simple wedding too...well actually, its more like DIY wedding..LOL.we didnt cater, we make our own wedding dais,we tailor our own wedding dress..except my sanding dress la..so we saved some budget here.

Define simple. For me simple is no food, time and money wasted on unnecessary thing like invitation card, expensive entertainment, dress, doorgift but doesnt mean we have to cancel it..actually i want to look alternative choices for all dat.. Simple is also mean i want to focus on the wedding..the ambiance get together..the guests..not only the pelamin, the pengantin..its not worth it to spend too much on that kinda thing tapi the guests pulang tak puas hati..tak rasa dilayan. Its not nice la kan..Kalau boleh, i want to meet semua orang yang datang hari tu.mampu ka??huuu..

I think im about to cancel Bisaya  Traditional wedding dress.I know this wedding gonna be once in a lifetime but im a strict person when it comes about financial.(ke kedekut..lol) I have plan to travel a.k.a hantu jalan, so just by imagining myself in Jogja rite now give me the confidence to decide,ya..no traditional dress.Lupa asal usul?? I love my traditional food, i understand my own language.bla.bla.bla. whom im gonna impressed anyway..as long as i know myself.my ancestor. =)

Less is more.Agree?or agree to disagree?
